A briefing will be arranged at the hotel with the wedding coordinator. Options will be discussed for your big day and advice, where necessary given. When you choose your wedding clothes, remembering that it is hot and humid here!

FORMALITIES
Clients wishing to marry in Seychelles must be at least 18 years old.
Civil ceremonies performed by a registrar in Seychelles are recognized in all countries
Civil ceremonies can be performed at Le Duc de Praslin, and usually between 1400hrs and 1700hrs Monday to Friday. The date should be fixed ideally 6 weeks or more prior to the your arrival.
DOCUMENTATION
The documents mentioned below must be received by the hotel not later than 30 days before the clients arrival
The following documents must be obtained 14 days before date of wedding:-
- Copies of birth certificates (Divorce certificate where applicable)
- Photocopies of passport (where party’s particulars are available)
- Validity of passport must be 3 years
- If widowed death certificate of spouse
- Previous marriage certificates (if married before)
- Details of names (both parties).
- Details of Religions
- Details of Professions
- Details of Adresses
- Documents from respective embassy/consulate
All foreign documents (not in English) must be officially translated on appropriate embassy headed paper, before forwarding them to us.
Original documents must be carried by the clients when travelling to Seychelles.
